Trade turnover between russia and China is declining. In January-February of this year, trade turnover dropped by more than $34 billion, or over 7%. Both imports of Chinese goods to russia (down 11%) and exports (down 4%) are falling.

In reality, due to sanctions and enormous military expenditures, russians continue to grow poorer and can afford to buy fewer Chinese goods. Meanwhile, China, which takes a pragmatic approach to its relations with russia, is limiting its purchases of russian energy resources and raw materials.
