russia will conduct propaganda tour for bloggers from Africa
kremlin structures are organizing a trip to moscow for a group of bloggers and media workers from Mali, Niger, Togo, Madagascar and Tanzania to celebrate victory day.
One of the organizers of the event is the sanctioned propaganda publication “African Initiative”, which is associated with russian special services.
The visit program also includes training at a “media school” in kaliningrad, where African guests will be taught “content verification” and “fighting fake news” — obviously according to the methods of russian propagandists. Foreign guests will also visit a number of military monuments and propaganda centers in moscow.
This event is a continuation of russia’s systematic strategy to build a network of influence on the African continent. Under the guise of cultural exchange and educational initiatives, moscow is creating a managed pool of foreign influencers who, in the future, may become leaders of russian narratives in their countries.
