▫️ russia’s war against Ukraine is the bloodiest and most horrific event on European soil since the end of World War II. It is undoubtedly one of the bloodiest wars in the entire postwar history of the world.
▫️ I hope that we are nevertheless on the path toward a fundamental resolution of this war.
▫️ It cannot be said that peace will come tomorrow, but we are moving forward. Significant efforts are being made— on our side and on the part of the United States.
▫️ Whether we will be able to achieve success in the near future also depends on the russian federation. Everyone understands who we are dealing with. Cautious optimism is the term that can be used to clearly characterize the situation.
▫️ It cannot be stated that russia is winning or has won the war. The negotiation process is ongoing.
▫️ Ukraine is engaged in a negotiation process. However, it must be remembered that we cannot simply exclude russia from this process. There are unpleasant people and unpleasant countries, but we still have to deal with them.
▫️ Ukraine needs support from its citizens abroad in all areas—from donations for weapons to influencing politicians.
▫️ China is using russia for excessive profits, but has not transferred a single unit of weapons so far.
