Fake Russian propaganda about the alleged sale of weapons to AFU
russian propaganda is once again accusing Ukraine of selling Western weapons to criminal groups. This time, the claim is that weapons allegedly come with GPS trackers that record footage in Sumy region and are then reported as combat losses. The fabricated scheme by the enemy even mentions Moldova, through which supplies supposedly pass to “foreign criminal structures” worldwide. However, this information has no confirmation.

In fact, since early 2024, representatives of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and US inspectors have conducted three joint inspections of American arms supplied to Ukraine, with no remarks noted by the American side.
This type of disinformation is a typical russian practice aimed at undermining international support for Ukraine and reducing partners’ trust in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, especially amidst the renewed deliveries of defensive weapons.
