The Center hosted a meeting with journalists from top EU media outlets
On September 30, 2024, the Center for Countering Disinformation, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Prism analytical center, held a meeting with journalists and editors from leading media outlets in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, and other EU countries specializing in reporting on Ukraine.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Center, Andriy Kovalenko, and Deputy Head, Anayit Khoperiya, key trends in disinformation, its tools, and the methods used by the aggressor state to spread harmful information abroad were discussed.
A. Kovalenko emphasized the importance of a proactive approach to countering disinformation and highlighted the Center’s successful initiatives. A. Khoperiya addressed current international trends in information security.
This meeting marked an important step in establishing cooperation with European media to combat russian disinformation.
