The participants of the meeting discussed the protection of citizens of Ukraine and partner countries from disinformation.

In particular, Acting Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Shapovalov emphasized the need to recognize the term “information terrorism” as a type of information crime at the official level and by introducing it in international legislation.

Andriy Shapovalov also stated that the Center is ready to cooperate with relevant organizations to counter disinformation and create an international hub to counter disinformation. He also emphasized the importance of the Center’s dissemination of truthful information about Ukraine, including to prevent the spread of disinformation from russia.
