Today, on April 26, Yulia Ostrovska, Director General of the International Broadcasting Multimedia Platform of Ukraine, and Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, signed a Memorandum of cooperation.
Its purpose is to foster conditions for mutual cooperation between the Parties in countering information threats by identifying and addressing hostile propaganda and disinformation within the media landscape.
“Based on the Center’s research, we observe a significant influence exerted by the kremlin on the information landscape of the West, a phenomenon that is unfortunately frequently underestimated. Collaborative efforts like this will help combating disinformation in the West and mitigating the detrimental influence of russia,” said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the CCD.
