Deputy Head of the CCD took part in the NATO Communicators Conference 2025

Deputy Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Anayit Khoperiya, took part in the annual NATO Communicators Conference 2025, held in Athens, Greece.

▫️The event, organized under the auspices of NATO’s Allied Command Transformation (ACT), brought together leading communication experts from member states to discuss one of today’s greatest challenges – cognitive warfare.

▫️The discussions focused on methods and tools used by adversaries to manipulate information, shape public perception, and undermine trust in democratic institutions. Participants shared national experiences and discussed joint approaches to counter these threats.

▫️The conference emphasized that NATO’s strategy should include not only protection from attacks in the cognitive domain but also proactive measures: strengthening societal resilience, building trust in state institutions, and ensuring reliable and transparent communication to safeguard shared values.

The visit of representatives from key Ukrainian institutions in the field of strategic communications was organized by NATO Headquarters with the support of the NATO Representation to Ukraine as part of the Strategic Communications Trust Fund under NATO’s Comprehensive Assistance Package (CAP) for Ukraine.
