How the russian authorities fool the participants of the «special operation»

Although the russian authorities from the beginning of the so-called “special operations” denied the need for the additional troops, from September 21 to October 28, putin announced a “partial mobilization” for 300,000 russians. So far, the decree has not been revoked, and the mobilization continues.

However, the problems that arose as a result of such a move by putin turned out to be devastating both for the rating of the russian military leadership and for the government as a whole.

Due to the sending to the front of a large number of able-bodied russians and thousands of those who fled putin’s mobilization abroad, there is a shortage of skilled labor in russia. This led to a serious decline in the economy and the impossibility of transferring it to the military rails, because there is no one to work at the military factories. Putin’s regime never managed to implement Stalin’s propaganda slogan “Everything for the front, everything for the victory.”

Despite the statements of putin and the generals of the ministry of defense, the proper provision of the military in practice turned out to be a lie. The mobilized are often forced to provide themselves with everything they need, starting with military uniforms and ending with weapons. And this is not surprising, because even before the start of partial mobilization, the military uniform was simply stolen by fraudsters from the ministry of defense. State duma deputy a.gurulev announced the disappearance of 1.5 million sets of military uniforms last fall, but there are still no reports of high-profile criminal cases or resignations. This also applies to weapons. Wives of those mobilized from kazan complain that their husbands were given only 1986 assault rifles.

Parents with many children, people with serious illnesses are sent to the front, and they do not provide enough time to prepare for combat operations. Disorganization, unconstitutional relations, and rampant drunkenness prevail at the training grounds where mobilized russians undergo such and such training. It is becoming a common phenomenon when the new arrivals refuse to go on the attack, despite the threats of the commanders.

Social tensions are brewing in the occupying forces – servicemen noticed frauds with monetary payments and their dependence on the “decision” of the commander. In the event of the announcement of full mobilization, all of them will be removed – salaries will be received by rank and position. In order to reduce the allowances paid to soldiers, they are forced en masse to sign a contract, and if they refuse, they are threatened with prison. “Throwing” with money further reduces the motivation to mobilize, the number of those who flatly refuse to go to fight in Ukraine, even because of the threat of imprisonment, increases exponentially.

Propaganda videos about how the government “supports” the families of soldiers fighting against Ukraine also turned out to be profanity. The draft law on support for the families of the mobilized has been under consideration by the state duma since the autumn of last year. Due to the lack of federal support, local authorities help military families at their discretion: from rams in tyva to 10 kg of potatoes and carrots in the moscow region and firewood in buryatia. Wives of SMO participants in novosibirsk, bashkiria, as well as in omsk and other regions regularly complain about delays in payments. In addition, due to bureaucratic red tape, the wounded in the SMO cannot receive the promised payments of 3 million rubles.

There are far from isolated cases when the state is not responsible for its promises and openly deceives the participants of the SMO. Veterans of combat operations in Ukraine and those mobilized cannot get the land promised to them for individual housing construction, they were deceived with credit holidays and debt cancellation.

More than four months after the announcement of mobilization, russian banks still have problems confirming the status of military personnel and mobilized citizens. The Federal Tax Service, the Central Bank and the ministry of defense of the russian federation are openly sabotaging the confirmation of information about servicemen of the SMO, which indicates the purposeful reluctance of the state to spend extra money to fulfill its promises. The situation is the same with the write-off of loans for those who died in the war, which was announced by the state. After all, the budget does not provide funds for these purposes, and all financial costs fall on the shoulders of banks and financial organizations, which, of course, try to avoid them.

❗️ Having announced mobilization in the country, putin made a big mistake, primarily for his political future. By trying to correct the situation at the front in this way, the russian authorities only “backed themselves into a corner” and accelerated the process of transfer of kremlin power. After all, the catastrophic situation surrounding the mobilization once again reminded the average russian that if the kremlin authorities promise something, they will not fulfill anything, and, as always, they will steal everything. Dissatisfaction of the russians with the decisions of the authorities regarding mobilization and “special operation” in general so far manifests itself in the form of anti-war actions and arson of administrations and military committees, but it is increasingly acquiring a political tone.
