The Center and the State Archival Service of Ukraine concluded a Memorandum of cooperation
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the State Archival Service of Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening interaction in countering disinformation and manipulations of historical memory.
The parties will coordinate efforts to improve citizens’ media literacy on these issues, as well as to jointly counter relevant information threats.
Head of the Center and Ukrainian Defence Forces officer Andrii Kovalenko stressed the importance of joining efforts to counter manipulations of historical facts, the appropriation of Ukrainian heritage, and to strengthen the presence of the Ukrainian historical narrative in the international information space.
The meeting was attended by Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov and First Deputy Head of the Service Tetiana Shevchenko.
