A new anti-Ukrainian campaign on Polish-language TikTok

An intensification of anti-Ukrainian information operations utilizing AI-generated content has been detected within the Polish information space.

▫️ AI-generated videos, disguised as “humorous content,” are being mass-disseminated on TikTok. These clips purposefully mock Ukrainians in Poland, shaping an image of greedy, uneducated people who are allegedly “robbing” Poles.

▫️ The danger of using such “humorous” AI content lies in the fact that social media users find it harder to identify as propaganda. The Center has repeatedly documented similar campaigns where generated “satirical” content was used to impose narratives favorable to russian federation and destabilize public sentiment.

The current campaign in Poland has a clear objective: to drive a wedge between Ukrainians and Poles, discredit Ukrainian refugees, and erode public support for Ukraine. This wave coincides with a general increase in the spread of anti-Ukrainian messages across the Polish-language segment of social media, as previously reported by the Center.
