Fake: Russian propaganda about “strikes on military targets”
russian propaganda is trying to justify terrorist strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure by calling power plants “military targets.”
▫️ Pro-russian sources are spreading posts about an alleged “massive attack on military facilities in Ukraine’s rear areas.” However, the attached photos clearly show that the strikes hit energy facilities — that is, civilian infrastructure.
In fact, according to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine today’s massive missile and drone attack by russia targeted Ukraine’s energy sector. New damage to energy infrastructure was recorded, and emergency power outages were introduced across most regions.
The destruction of energy facilities powering hospitals, schools, residential buildings, and critical infrastructure has no “military” justification — it is another act of russian state terrorism.
