The enemy spreads fakes about alleged protests in Ukraine
The Center is recording another russian disinformation campaign in the information space aimed at destabilizing the internal situation in Ukraine.
▫️Fake reports are being spread primarily on the social network TikTok about alleged protest actions in Ukraine with demands to “stop the war” and agree to “peace at any cost,” along with calls to join these protests. The videos used in these posts actually show rallies in Kyiv held in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war — over which unrelated audio tracks with chants like “No war” have been added.
By spreading such fakes, russia is attempting to provoke division within Ukrainian society and undermine our country from within.
