Fake about the “destruction of a military train” in Sumy

russian propagandists are spreading a fake about the alleged “destruction of a military train” in Sumy.

In reality, on April 14, the russian army used attack drones to strike a passenger train in Semenivka, Chernihiv region. At the time of the strike, there were still 30 minutes before departure, so there were no passengers on board.

Propagandists used photos from the strike site in Chernihiv region to fabricate a fake, falsely claiming they showed a “military train” in Sumy.

The goal of such fakes — to justify a terrorist strike on a civilian infrastructure facility.

This is yet another sign that russia has no intention of peace and continues to target civilian infrastructure: hospitals, kindergartens, residential buildings, and even passenger trains.
