Enemy campaign about “AFU atrocities”: new narratives of ru-propaganda
russian propaganda continues its disinformation campaign about alleged “atrocities committed by the AFU” in an attempt to discredit Ukrainian servicemen.
Over the past few days, the enemy has released a series of manipulative reports featuring so-called “eyewitness testimonies,” which are being actively spread by russian propaganda resources:
▫️ In the first video, another released russian POW, who appears completely healthy, follows a standard script describing alleged “beatings” and “abuse.”
▫️ In another video, a man claiming to be a resident of Pokrovsk speaks about alleged “executions of civilians,” “cut-off ears,” and “shot knees.” However, his own account makes it clear that he did not personally witness any of these events and is merely repeating rumors.
▫️ The third report features a civilian allegedly evacuated from the combat zone in the Kharkiv region, who claims that Ukrainian soldiers disguised themselves in russian uniforms in order to “identify and execute pro-russian residents.” This absurd narrative about “disguised Ukrainians” is intended to shift responsibility for the real atrocities committed by the russian army onto Ukrainian servicemen.
This systematic russian disinformation campaign contains no evidence and is not supported by any independent verification. The kremlin is attempting to demonize the AFU, intimidate civilians in frontline and occupied territories, and justify its armed aggression against Ukraine while disguising its own war crimes as a so-called “liberation mission.”
