Fake about President Zelenskyy’s purchase of a hotel in France
Propaganda is spreading a fake report claiming that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has allegedly purchased the Palace Des Neiges hotel in the French ski resort of Courchevel for 88 million euros.
▫️ The video claims that the hotel was bought through the company Film Heritage Inc, which is linked to the President’s family. To create an illusion of credibility, the report shows the hotel’s website, falsely claiming that it belongs to this company.
However, as the Center discovered, this website is fake and has no connection to the hotel. The website was created on November 22, 2024, indicating that it was created specifically to spread disinformation.
▫️ The hotel’s official website lists a completely different owner.
This is yet another fake as part of Russia’s ongoing disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian President.
It is worth noting that Russia has repeatedly spread similar fakes about the alleged acquisition of luxury real estate by the President’s family.
