▫️ Syrian media are actively spreading claims that align with russia’s narrative about Ukraine’s alleged connections with Islamist groups. Moreover, the media cite statements from russian officials, such as sergei lavrov and maria zakharova, without offering Ukraine’s perspective.
▫️ In addition, many publications portray the situation in Ukraine in a way that benefits russian propaganda, suggesting that “the public is weary of the war, mobilization, frequent blackouts, and widespread corruption.”
▫️ Meanwhile, Arab media published an article highlighting russian information influence in the United States, where journalists and experts widely agree that russia has interfered in the American information space. Another report detailed the killing of three Red Cross workers by russian forces.
▫️ In the Middle East and Africa, there was significant coverage of a russian missile strike on a ship transporting grain to Egypt. The articles quoted Ukraine’s President, stating that “wheat and food security should never be targets for strikes.”
