A. Kovalenko met with representatives from the French Embassy
On May 8, 2024, the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko met with a delegation of the French Embassy in Ukraine headed by Benjamin Roehrig, Minister Counselor, Deputy Chief of Mission. The meeting was also attended by Jean-Baptiste Begat, Political Counselor of the Embassy, and Anayit Khoperiya, Deputy Head of the Center.
During the meeting, A. Kovalenko briefed everyone on the Center’s efforts to combat disinformation and propaganda. He highlighted the analytical reports and public projects the Center has been working on lately.
А. Khoperiya spoke about the networks of coordinated inauthentic behavior identified by the Center and handed over to the French partners the Center’s report detailing russia’s attempts to discredit President E. Macron.
The parties emphasized the importance of cooperation in countering hostile information influence at the national and international levels and discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
