“Information noise” – this method is used by propaganda when it is necessary to reduce the relevance and cause a negative reaction to an event.
The purpose of “Information noise” is to make the audience tired of disinformation on a certain “hot” topic in order to discourage further interest in it.

Unable to hide the videos posted on social media, russian propagandists use the method of spreading the “information noise” among the population about the explosions at the Novofedorivka airfield in occupied Crimea.
The main version of the explosions is “assigned” to a violation of fire safety rules, and the secondary version is a drone sabotage.
The russian audience quickly gets bored with the stream of duplicated reports about the explosions in Novofedorivka, which come from everywhere and are repeated many times, so interest in the news is decreasing, and mentions of the event cause irritation.
