While analyzing the audiovisual content disseminated in the Belarusian segment of social media, the Center’s team detected the dissemination of a video of a Su-24 bomber being transported in the Ivanovo district of Belarus (bordering Volyn region). It is important to note that Su-24 aircraft are in service with Ukraine.
According to a visual assessment, the transported aircraft is completely unsuitable for flying, which makes it an ideal “prop” for staged videos of the neutralization of a Ukrainian combat aircraft that violated Belarusian airspace. It is also worth noting that a special feature of the transported aircraft is the “49” mark on the fuselage.
Such a provocative video could be the beginning of the active phase of Belarus’ plans to justify its military aggression against Ukraine.
The Center passed on the relevant findings to the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for prompt consideration and response to the possible threat.
The maximum dissemination of this material will help to disrupt the disinformation operation against Ukraine and prevent the enemy from implementing its plans.
