Mobile crematoriums have been spotted on the territory of Ukraine since early March. It was assumed that they were used to burn the bodies of the dead occupiers to conceal the real number of victims. However, after the exposure of atrocities in Bucha, Irpin and other Ukrainian cities, it became clear that the cremation of bodies was not only for “their own”.
On 13.04, the leadership of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that at least 13 mobile crematoriums were spotted in Mariupol to clear the streets of the bodies of dead civilians.
The intelligence also recorded the use of mobile crematoriums in Chernihiv region and in Novoaydar, Luhansk region.
