Enemy information sources are spreading manipulative messages linking the visit of the US official to the supposed “rapid loss of legitimacy” of the Ukrainian authorities. They’re pushing narratives about “external governance” and painting Ukraine as a “failed state.”
▪️ Previously, the Center issued a warning about the disinformation campaign “Maidan-3,” initiated by the adversary to propagate messages questioning the legitimacy of the Ukrainian government. The campaign is expected to culminate on May 20.
The goal of russia is to destabilize the situation, discredit the military and political leadership of Ukraine, sow chaos and an atmosphere of distrust among Ukrainians.
According to the plan of the russian special services, the political crisis provoked by them will weaken the Ukrainian government and reduce international support, and then the offensive on the front will bring Ukraine defeat.
