Disinformation theses of the russian ministry of defense on the situation in Ukraine

The kremlin’s media outlets have made a false claim that Poland, under the pretext of the May military exercises, “plans to establish military and political control over the western regions of Ukraine”

The danger lies in the fact that this narrative is being promoted to the russian-speaking audience not only by openly propagandistic russian media, but also by the so-called russian opposition. According to the “oppositionists”, Poland will allegedly take away a part of Ukraine if russia captures Donbas and the South of our country

This theory was picked up in the world. Reuters published an article titled “russian intelligence chief says US, Poland are preparing to divide Ukraine”. Poland rejected all the accusations, emphasizing that the lies of russian origin about Poland’s plans to attack Ukraine have been spreading for several years.

Russia is misinforming the world through various communication channels that the fate of Ukraine as a state will be decided in June
