The main arguments that the video “Video of the Public Relations Center of FSS of the russian federation on the shelling of russian territory from the outside” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTr4FaYTG2I) is staged:
1. According to the russian website RBC, the incident took place near the village of Shcherbakovo (Neklinovsky district of Rostov region of russia), located more than 40 km from the line of demarcation with the TOT of Donetsk region. According to the Minsk agreements, all Ukrainian artillery capable of such shelling has been withdrawn from the line by a certain distance and is deployed in the places of withdrawal. The disappearance of this equipment from the above-mentioned places would necessarily be reflected in the daily report of the special monitoring mission operating in Donbas;
2. Given that the vast majority of border troops’ duties are carried out using vehicles (cars, ATVs, etc.), the video does not show any transport infrastructure, such as access roads or railroad tracks;
3. Any border checkpoint involves the permanent residence of military personnel or their temporary stay at the facility, but the destroyed building lacks any household items (beds, tables, chairs, etc.);
4. The destroyed building is overgrown with bushes, which is completely illogical and not typical of any military formation. It is understood that the territory near military infrastructure facilities is usually fenced and well maintained, and the state flag is placed on a flagpole.
