The fourth day of President Zelenskyy’s visit to the United States
In Washington, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
▫️ The main focus of their discussions was Ukraine’s Plan for Victory, covering its diplomatic, economic, and military aspects. The talks reaffirmed the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine, and a new $7.9 billion military assistance package was announced.
▫️ Additionally, President Zelenskyy discussed key elements of the Plan for Victory with bipartisan delegations from the U.S. Senate and Congress.
Today, russia is undermining international law, using nuclear threats to intimidate the world, and shows no intention of voluntarily stopping its aggression. That’s why the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States, along with open and effective coordination, is crucial now.
