russian propaganda resources are actively spreading a statement by the country’s foreign intelligence service claiming that Ukraine, allegedly “at the behest” of the United States, is preparing “a staged russian missile attack on a children’s institution in territory controlled by Kyiv.”

This is outright russian disinformation with no basis in reality and may indicate that the enemy is preparing further attacks on civilian targets.

The enemy is trying to sow panic among Ukrainians, create division and distrust in our society, and justify its own crimes.

👆It is important to remember that russia is trying to blame Ukraine for all the war crimes committed by the russian army, including missile attacks on children’s institutions.

Despite abundant evidence, russian propaganda stubbornly labels the massacres of civilians in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities under occupation as “provocations and staging,” and the missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital as “a strike by a missile from Kyiv’s air defense.”
