Why russia sends participants of the war to work in schools
Deputies of the khanty-mansi autonomous okrug are preparing an appeal to the ministry of labor of russia, requesting permission for participants in the war against Ukraine to work in schools without any teaching education or experience.
▫️ Allowing war participants to teach without relevant qualifications is yet another step in the militarization of russian society and the imposition of military ideology in schools. They are expected to teach “basics of safety and homeland defense,” promoting the glorification of war and romanticizing violence, while shaping the image of Ukraine as the enemy in children’s minds.
The presence of people who took part in the war will be portrayed as a “model to follow.” In this way, the russian government seeks to normalize war.
Earlier, the Center, together with Bring kids back UA , a Ukrainian initiative launched by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, prepared an analytical report titled “Militarization of ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.”
