russia launches “educational program” for journalists in Mongolia

In Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, a russian language course for local journalists has been launched. It is organized through the “russian house” — an institution that promotes russian propaganda and interests abroad under the guise of cultural exchange.

▫️ The program involves 25 representatives of Mongolian media — correspondents from TV and radio companies, online outlets, print media, as well as editors and media holding managers. Such educational initiatives are part of russia’s strategy to expand influence in Asia through “soft power” tools.

This practice is systematically applied by russia in various regions worldwide. Working directly with journalists has strategic significance for russia. By investing substantial resources in educational and cultural projects, moscow gradually builds networks of media professionals loyal to it, who can later serve as channels for promoting russian narratives in the national information spaces of other countries.
