How the russian orthodox church helps the kremlin promote the war
In yekaterinburg, a propaganda event was held near an orthodox church – a 16-meter-long replica of a gas pipe was installed, allegedly used by russian soldiers to infiltrate the town of sudzha in the kursk region. Local residents are being encouraged to walk through the pipe to “feel the heroic feat.”
▫️ In this way, the russian orthodox church (roc) has joined the propaganda campaign that attempts to portray the operation of russian troops in sudzha as a “great victory.” In reality, many participants in the operation suffered chemical burns to the lungs or suffocated on the way, while Ukraine’s General Staff stated that the enemy breakthrough was promptly detected.
The roc has long served as a tool of the kremlin in ideologically manipulating the russian population, promoting war, and fostering hatred toward Ukraine. This religious organization has nothing to do with Christianity.
