How Russia prepares its population for a “major war with the West”
Alexei Zhuravlev, a member of the Russian State Duma, said that “the entire male population of Russia” must be prepared for mobilization for a major confrontation with the collective West.” Such statements are far from isolated.
Russian propaganda continues to deliberately fuel hatred toward the West and democratic nations, while the authorities actively militarize society. Russia poses a real threat not only to Ukraine but to the entire European Union.
