According to media reports, russian government has decided to postpone the implementation of 14 power plant modernization projects by 2–3 years. The reason: delays in equipment deliveries and a critical shortage of domestic technologies.
▫️The far eastern regions are already suffering from electricity shortages. This is a direct consequence of years of dependence on imports, sanctions, and the absence of long-term strategies in the country’s energy policy.
▫️While russian propaganda talks about the supposed global importance of russian energy resources, supplying electricity to its own population remains far from the government’s priority. Loud propaganda conceals deep internal problems.
