How the enemy continues to discredit Ukraine with accusations of involvement in “crocus” terrorist attack

russian propaganda, with the help of fsb director alexander bortnikov, continues its efforts to discredit Ukraine by accusing it of involvement in the terrorist attack at Crocus.

However, these statements highlight the fsb’s inability to produce even formal results from their investigation into the terrorist attack, leaving their accusations against Ukraine as mere claims without any evidence. Meanwhile, the fsb’s involvement in the crime is evident, given its long-standing connections with the ISIS terrorist organization. For example, the Center reported that at least three thousand russians are currently serving in the Iraqi cell of ISIS, and the fsb used these connections to orchestrate a terrorist attack in the moscow region.

The russian official also made a series of other disinformation claims:

▫️ “Ukraine, with the support of NATO, is building up forces to commit terrorist attacks and sabotage in russia.”
▫️ “Attempts by subversive reconnaissance groups from Ukraine to infiltrate the border regions continue.”
▫️ “Ukraine recruits perpetrators of crimes, including among migrant workers”.

Statements about NATO’s support for the mythical terrorist attacks are aimed at a domestic audience. Russia creates the illusion of war not with Ukraine, but with the entire Western world in order to mobilize more people into the army under the influence of fear.
