russian TG channels spread information that in the city of Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia region, three Ukrainian men allegedly beat a citizen of Kazakhstan, mistaking him for a Korean.

The reports also claim that during the fight, the Ukrainians allegedly shouted racist insults, and the Kazakh consulate even intervened in the incident.

Having verified the information with the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, the Center reports that the information is not true – no such incidents have been recorded in Zhmerynka.

The purpose of such lies is to discredit Ukrainians and create a false impression of racism in Ukrainian society.
