The CCD continues its series of reports about the main perpetrators of anti-Ukrainian propaganda in belarus. Today, we will discuss the activities of daria rachko, the youngest star of belarusian TV propaganda.
She is 21 years old and started working in journalism almost immediately after high school. Her career has been on the rise, and today rachko already hosts her own program on one of the country’s largest TV channels, “Belarus-1”.
In addition to glorifying the belarusian dictator lukashenko, the propagandist mainly discusses global issues, such as the war in Ukraine and the elections in the United States.
With regard to Ukraine, rachko promotes the following propaganda messages:
▫️ “Ukrainian authorities are making money from the war”;
▫️ “there is rampant corruption in Ukraine, Western aid is being stolen”
▫️ “Ukraine wants to continue the war, so it does not engage in direct negotiations with russia”;
▫️ “NATO is using Ukraine as a “bridge” to get to russia”.
She also joined russian disinformation campaigns to disrupt mobilization in Ukraine and discredit the Peace Summit.
