▪️ Additionally, the negative impact of russia’s invasion of Ukraine on food security remains a significant concern in the region, with journalists noting Ukraine’s efforts to mitigate this damage.

▪️ The news of the death of Ukrainian journalist Victoria Roshchyna while in russian captivity has also gained significant attention in the region, alongside coverage of the possible involvement of DPRK (North Korean) military forces in the war on russia’s side.

▪️ In Africa, media outlets have raised concerns about reports that russians are fraudulently recruiting Africans to produce drones for the war against Ukraine.
