⚡️ Moldova’s Cybersecurity Agency reported one of the most serious cyberattacks since the beginning of the year, targeting the National Medical Database. As a result of the attack, approximately 30% of the information was compromised, including patients’ personal data and information on financial transactions within the healthcare system.
▫️ Specialists from Moldova’s Cybersecurity Agency confirmed that the attack was a coordinated operation conducted by russian intelligence services aimed at stealing sensitive data of Moldovan citizens.

Such a choice of target is intended to destabilize the social sector and undermine trust in state digital services. This is taking place amid Moldova’s European integration process, which russia continues attempting to obstruct.
