Fake about the capture of Novokostiantynivka (Pershe Travnia)
The russian ministry of defense is spreading false information about the alleged capture of the settlement of Novokostiantynivka (formerly known as Pershe Travnia) in Sumy region.
The “Kursk” Group of Forces has refuted this claim. The settlement remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Ukrainian units continue to carry out combat missions in the area. Fighting is ongoing, while the situation remains under control.
The military emphasizes that such claims are a standard practice of the russian command, which has long and regularly taken credit for achievements that do not correspond to reality. This is done for domestic propaganda purposes and to create false reports for the russian leadership.
