Russia is strengthening its political influence in Africa
After the attack on Azerbaijan by Iranian drones, pro-russian channels immediately started promoting another conspiracy theory, alleging that Ukraine was behind the strike, having used “trophy” Iranian Arash-2 drones to “drag Azerbaijan into a war against Iran”.

This is a classic tactic of “flooding” the information space with conflicting versions to sow doubt and conceal the real sources of threats in the region.
A similar disinformation campaign took place after the attacks by russian UAVs on Polish territory, when propagandists also tried to shift the blame to Ukraine. Then too, Ukraine was accused of “provocations” using russian drones. The goal remains the same – to absolve russia of responsibility and discredit Ukraine in the eyes of its partners.
