This morning, Russia carried out yet another terrorist attack against Ukrainian civilians – enemy drones struck a residential apartment building in Kharkiv.
▫️ According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, five people were killed, including a 1.5-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. Thirty others were injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing as people remain trapped under the rubble.
▫️ The enemy deliberately targeted a five-story residential building with four kamikaze drones. This cannot be dismissed as “consequences of Ukrainian air defense,” as Russian propaganda usually claims. Kremlin propagandists are also trying to blame Ukraine for the strike, inventing lies about a “Ukrainian provocation” amid ongoing negotiations.
What makes this especially cynical is that such attacks occur in parallel with talks about resolving the war. Russia constantly proclaims its “readiness for peace,” but in reality, these crimes prove the opposite — the Kremlin seeks to continue killing Ukrainian civilians.
Only a united and resolute stance from the world — with tougher sanctions and stronger pressure — can stop Russia’s terror against peaceful people in Ukraine.
