Lies of ru-propaganda about the attack on the Azerbaijani company’s facility in Odesa
After the russian strike on an energy facility in Odesa owned by an Azerbaijani company, russian propaganda is spreading the absurd narrative that Ukraine is supposedly “fueling hostility” between russia and Azerbaijan.
▫️ As emphasized by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, this was a deliberate strike by russian military forces on this energy facility. And this is a fact confirmed by photos and videos of the attack’s aftermath. Moreover, the propagandists themselves reported “successful drone strikes by russia on targets in Odesa,” and russian bloggers openly rejoiced over the destroyed infrastructure of the Azerbaijani company.
▫️ The relations between the two countries have been deteriorating for a long time: it is enough to recall the incident of russia shooting down an Azerbaijani passenger plane, after which trust in the relations between the states was seriously shaken.
The attempt to twist reality and accuse Ukraine of supposedly “pitting” russia and Azerbaijan against each other is yet another example of the standard kremlin tactic: instead of taking responsibility for their own crimes — they look for scapegoats by spreading lies and manipulations.
