Fake about “priority access for Ukrainians in Polish hospitals”

A fake claim about alleged “privileged access of Ukrainians to healthcare” is spreading in the Polish information space, aimed at inciting social tensions.

▫️ Polish media report that social networks are actively amplifying claims that Ukrainian citizens in Poland supposedly have priority access to doctors, even over honorary blood donors. A photo of a document is circulated as “evidence,” allegedly confirming this practice.

The document shared in such posts is an archival material of Poland’s National Health Fund from 2014. It lists categories of individuals entitled to priority service, but does not mention Ukrainians at all.

▫️ Poland’s Ministry of Health has officially refuted the fake claims about “priority for Ukrainians.” Under current legislation, honorary blood donors are guaranteed priority access regardless of citizenship. Ukrainians under temporary protection in Poland have access to healthcare on the same terms as other insured persons. No additional privileges are provided for them.

The purpose of such information injections is to artificially pit Ukrainians against Poles in order to reduce support for Ukraine within Polish society. The Center has previously recorded similar fakes about alleged “privileged access” of Ukrainians to social resources in Poland.
