On April 11-12, at the invitation of Lithuanian colleagues, the Center for Countering Disinformation paid a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania, which became an important step towards coordinating bilateral efforts to counter russian disinformation.
During the visit, the Center met with representatives of the Strategic Communications Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense to discuss prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting with the representatives of the newly established Lithuanian governmental Crisis Management Center, the parties exchanged experience in countering hostile information influence and emphasized the importance of cooperation in countering disinformation at the national and international levels.
Representatives of the Center also held a meeting with the Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, General Valdemaras Rupšys.
