On October 13, in Riga, Latvia, at the invitation of the NATO StratCom Center of Excellence, representatives of the Center for Countering Disinformation, a working body of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine took part in the panel “Researching Modern Footholds: War and Social Media” during the international conference “New Trends in Social Media”.
Representatives of the CCD at the NSDC shared Ukraine’s experience in preventing the use of communication platforms as weapons of mass destruction and presented advanced methods in countering disinformation.
The conference also discussed the prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU and NATO to deepen integration into a unified information security system.
