With this in mind, many fakes and manipulations have been created around it, designed to sow fear and panic both among Ukrainian defenders and among the civilian population. However, some of the “true” reports are not untrue, but downright absurd.

“DIPLOMATIC NOTE”

In the evening of October 8, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Minsk I. Kyzym was summoned to the ministry of foreign affairs of Belarus. During the forced visit, the Ukrainian ambassador was handed a diplomatic note due to Ukraine’s alleged preparations for an attack on the territory of Belarus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine immediately reacted to this, announcing that “this information does not correspond to reality” and categorically rejected “another insinuation of the Belarusian regime.” At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized that “Ukraine has never encroached on foreign territories and has clearly adhered to the fundamental norms and principles of international law and the UN Charter.”

The ministry did not exclude the fact that “handing over the diplomatic note could be part of russia’s plan to commit provocation and further accuse Ukraine.”

“DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL GROUPING”

On October 10, the President of Belarus, o.lukashenko, said that “due to the escalation on the western borders of the allied state” agreements were reached on “the deployment of the regional grouping of the russian federation and the Republic of Belarus.” According to him, “when the threat level reaches the current level, <…> the involvement of the allied state group begins.” He also reported that “the group began to form within two days.”

However, this information is not confirmed by the Ukrainian security forces. Thus, as early as October 1, the Commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine S. Naev stated that “up to seven battalion-tactical groups are being held along the state border of Belarus.” At the same time, “systematic exercises have been going on for almost six months on the territory of the republic, in which both their armed forces and other components of their security sector are involved.”

“ROCKET TERROR – PREPARATION FOR THE OFFENSE”

Another “popular” fake story among the enemy propagandists is that the russian missile attack on Ukraine is the preparation of the occupiers for a large-scale offensive on the front, including from the territory of Belarus.

But again, this information is not true. As the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine V. Denisenko reported, “there are some mobilized people who are still on the territory of russia <…> large movements of people and equipment are imperceptible to our borders <…> As of now, we can say that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, a mass attack will begin again from all sides, including Belarus – this is definitely not the case.”

“RELEASING THE CONCERNS OF THE BELARUSIAN BROTHERS”

On October 10, a member of the russian state duma a.kartapolov stated that “there is no need for joint forces of the russian federation and Belarus to participate in the SMO in Ukraine,” and the deployment of forces is aimed exclusively at “alleviating the concerns of the Belarusian brothers.” At the same time, a.kartapolov emphasized that this will take place “in response to the actions of our opponents”, primarily Poland, which has begun deploying forces on the border with Belarus.

Such a statement is a manipulation and a continuation of the artificial rhetoric that Poland allegedly has plans to send troops to Belarus with the aim of annexing its territories.

“CHASING PANIC”

The goal of the information drops is to spread panic among the civilian population and Ukrainian defenders in order to sharply reduce Ukraine’s defense capabilities. And taking into account a number of resounding defeats of the russian federation on the battlefield, as well as the tense situation inside russia itself, the level of information terror will only grow.
