Ukrainian entry into NATO’s cyber defense center

For the first time, the Ukrainian delegation took part in a meeting of the Steering Committee of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE), held on May 30 in Tallinn.

A technical accession agreement is currently being prepared to formalize Ukraine’s participation

Despite the fact that the issue of Ukraine’s accession to the CCDCOE was not so clear for some members, and earlier our country’s application was even blocked, in March 2022 it was unanimously supported

Head of the Information and Cybersecurity Service of the NSDC of Ukraine, Secretary of the NCCC Natalia Tkachuk emphasized that Ukraine’s accession to the CCDCOE is a significant achievement for our country in strengthening international cooperation in cybersecurity and cyber defense, as well as an important step towards Ukraine’s accession to NATO

In addition, the CCDCOE decision can serve as an example for NATO, the EU and the UN on how to prioritize support for Ukraine without any political bias
