CCD warns that since the occupiers have access to cellular equipment in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, they may interfere with the operation of mobile communications.
This can happen through “parallel” call forwarding, whereby a call can go to two numbers at the same time – the direct subscriber’s number and someone else’s number.
To protect yourself and your loved ones from such actions, we urge you to use service codes to check whether call forwarding is installed on your number.
The following service codes are universal and suitable for all phones:
*#21# call – check information about call forwarding.
*#43# call – call waiting service status.
*#62# call – check call forwarding to another number.
##33# call – displays the status of blocking outgoing services: calls, SMS and data.
##002# call – delete all forwarding calls.
