From May 1 to 4, the Center for Countering Disinformation, a working body of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, with the support of the Advisory Mission of the European Union in Ukraine, conducted a series of trainings for the representatives of the central executive bodies and law enforcement agencies.
During the trainings, several main topics were covered, in particular: information influence campaigns and their detection, information influence techniques and tools, step-by-step counteraction and response plans with analysis of real examples of successful fight against propaganda.
In addition, the Center’s communication platforms were presented to the audiences, as well as recommendations were provided regarding communications with the target audience and countering harmful informational influence.
Based on the results of the trainings, a number of proposals regarding bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms were prepared, which will be implemented in the near future.
