Russian media are spreading a narrative about the inevitability of Ukraine’s territorial concessions to russia to end the war.
The basis for the info-psychological operation was a free translation of J.Stoltenberg’s words during a press conference in Brussels
“Peace in Ukraine is possible if Kyiv makes territorial concessions”
In reality, he said the following:
“It is not for me to judge what price Ukrainians should pay… The question is what position Ukraine will have at the negotiating table. Our duty is to make this position as strong as possible… Peace is possible. This is not a question. The question is… how much territory, how much independence, how much sovereignty… are you willing to sacrifice for peace?”
After the quote was spread, russian “experts” began to discuss it, taking the interpretation as an unshakable truth
With such narratives, russia is trying to convince its society of the victorious end of the war to level possible centers of social instability
