On August 21-25, a delegation from Ukraine, which included the Center for Countering Disinformation, took part in the Information Resource Capabilities Seminar (IRCS) “Lessons from russia’s Invasion of Ukraine” in Riga, Latvia. This training was organized and conducted by the US Joint Special Operations University with the assistance of the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) at the US Embassy in Ukraine.
During the seminar, participants shared lessons learned during the russian invasion of Ukraine with NATO colleagues and discussed current information security issues. They also explored how to better synchronize the Baltic states’ national plans to counter russia’s malicious influence.
The Republic of Latvia expressed its unwavering support for Ukraine, including in the fight against russian information influence.
