From June 5 to 9, the Center for Countering Disinformation participated in the EU Support to Strategic Communication project.
Within the framework of the project, a meeting was held with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Romania Ihor Prokopchuk to discuss current challenges related to russian disinformation and propaganda activities in Romania and the EU.
Also, representatives of the Romanian Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Interior kindly shared their experience in combating disinformation at the state level.
In addition, the project included: participation in debates with scholars from the Laboratory of International Relations of the Romanian Academy (Larics), employees of The Civic Resource Center; a roundtable discussion with NGOs and journalists from leading Romanian media; and a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Romania.
Center for Countering Disinformation exchanged experience with leading Romanian experts in combating information threats and gained new knowledge in the field of strategic communications.
